Viola M. Cichy-Ostrowski

Viola M. Cichy-Ostrowski, 82, formerly of Dancy, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, at home in Holmen.

She was born June 15, 1921, in Dancy, the daughter of the late Emil and Agnes (Wasniewski) Koss.

She was the dear mother of a son, Eric (Jaki) Cichy, Fifield, and son-in-law, Jerry Patten, Sussex; the proud grandma of Todd (Theresa) Patten, Dawn (Robert) Bandoli, Jay (Mari) Patten, Robin Pelloni, Stephanie King, Joshua and Aaron-Mathew Cichy; and great-grandma of Justin, Nicholas, Ryan, Brittany, Collin, Cassondra, Isiaha, Anthony and T.J. She is also survived by two brothers, Russel (Elaine) Koss, Mosinee, and Emil (Barbara) Koss, Indianapolis; and a sister, Jane (Victor) Bielen, Wisconsin Rapids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Cichy; and two daughters, Loretta Patten and Sandra King.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2004, at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee. The Rev. Herb Zoromski will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Knowlton. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, and again Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services, all at the funeral home.
