Mrs. Wanda Auth and daughter Paula from Colfax, and Mrs. Peter Nysted
accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Noeldner to Wausau on Sunday. They attended a
gathering of relatives at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Burton Finett. The party was
in honor of the confirmation of their son Dennis, the graduation of their son
Randy from Luther College, and also a farewell party for the Finett's, who are
moving to Rolla, Missouri to make their home.
Mrs. Arlene Cathey of Stinson Beach, California, Mrs. Elna Sutter of Marysville,
California, and Mrs. Janice Herdrich of Stockton, California arrived Friday, May
26, to spend a week at the Herbert White home, and with other relatives and
friends in the community.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Castner of Wild Rose, Wis. visited at the Herbert White home
Monday evening.
A family reunion of the children of the late Perle and Anna Catlin was held.
Those who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Catlin, Tomah, Mr. and Mrs. Vern
Catlin, Rhinelander, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Catlin, Merrill, Mr. and Mrs. Melford,
Milwaukee, Mrs. Rose Herman, Mrs. Dorothy Schubert, Mrs. Marilyn Rasmussen, Mr.
and Mrs. Larry Schubert, Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Catlin and family of Eau
Claire, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Catlin and family, Plainfield, Illinois, Mrs. Leon
Kuester and Delores, Greenwood. They attended church together and enjoyed dinner
at the Star Lodge Motel Sunday noon. They gathered at the home of Mrs. Alva
Lewis on Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Allen, Lewis, Kelly and Kim of Milwaukee spent the weekend
visiting at the home of Mrs. Alva Lewis.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rowley, Sandra, Judy, Jim, Donna and Pam, Mr. and Mrs.
Rueben Zimmerman, David, Ricky, Tim and Mrs. Lorinda Schultz, Loyal, and Mr. and
Mrs. Harold Stange, Vickie and Mike McCarron and friend Wanda Colby spent the
weekend fishing on Soo Lake at Phillips, Wis.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer W. Luepke returned home to Racine Monday, after spending the
weekend with her mother, Mrs. Blanche Schmidt and her sister, Mrs. Howard Olsen
and family. They also visited his father, Fred Luepke at the Neillsville
Memorial Home, and his sister and brother at Spencer, Mrs. Otto Berch and Arnold
Luepke.
