Voss, Marie (7 DEC 1886 – 3 JUN 1972)

Mrs. Marie Voss, 85, of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) died at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 1972, at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery, Loyal. The Rev. Wm. Humlie officiated at the services.

The Roycraft Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

The former Marie Schwan was born December 7, 1886, in Loyal,a dn was married on June 4, 1907 to Harry Voss, who preceded her in death on May 5, 1958. She received her education in Loyal Schools and taught school after graduation until her marriage. After her marriage, they farmed in the Loyal area until retirement 29 years ago. They then moved to the City of Loyal.

Marie Voss was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one son, Herbert Voss, Loyal; one daughter, Miss Selma Voss, Milwaukee' two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
