Bauer, Roland (21 AUG 1898 – 11 JUN 1972)
Roland Bauer, 73, R.R. 2, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 1:45 a.m. Sunday,
June 11, 1972 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. The cause of death was
complications.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, at St. Anthony's
Catholic Church, with burial in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. The Rev. N.E.
King officiated at services, and the Roycraft Funeral Home was in charge of
arrangements.
Roland Bauer was born august 21, 1898 at Loyal, Wisconsin and received his
education in Loyal area schools.
On June 17, 1924 he was married to Beatrice Hubing in Loyal. After their
marriage they farmed in Loyal Township until the present time. He also worked
for the Loyal Canning Co. for 20 years, while farming.
Roland Bauer was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife, Roland Bauer is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Allen
(Virginia) Seefluth, Wisconsin Rapids; Mrs. Roland (Allene) Mondlock, New
Richmond; and Mrs. Henry (Mae) Trampush, Loyal; three sons, Wallace Bauer,
Spencer; Kenneth Bauer, Niehart, Montana; and Sylvester Bauer, Wisconsin Rapids;
33 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchildren; three brothers ,Edwin, Marshfield;
Oscar, Spencer, and Lawrence, Niehart, Montana; four sisters, Mrs. Irene Froeba,
Wisconsin Rapids; Mrs. Loretta Froeba, Loyal; Mrs. Rose Renz, Jefferson,
Wisconsin, and Mrs. Roman (Martina0 Renz, Jefferson, Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by a son in infancy, and two brothers and two sisters.
