Schultz, Mary "Mayme" (29 AUG 1900 – 6 JUN 1972)
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, at Christ the King Catholic
Church in Spencer for Mrs. Mary (Mayme) Schultz, 71, who died June 6, 1972 at
the Marshfield Convalescent Center.
Pallbearers were Ervin Hoops, Albert Hoff, Dale Weyhmiller, Norbert Schultz,
Elroy Luepke, and John Sautner. Burial was made in the West Spencer Cemetery,
with the Rev. Andrew Bofenkamp officiating. The Jasperson Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.
The former Marry Suppray was born in La Crosse on August 29, 1900, and was
married at Winona, Minn. in 1936 to William Schultz, who preceded her in death
in 1960. She owned and operated the Spencer Hotel from 1925 until 1964, when she
retired. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
She is survived by two foster children, Mrs. Dorothy Cramer, Green Bay; and
Heinz Ratsch, North Carolina.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother.
