David Eskritt, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Eskritt of Milan, died Monday of a throat infection and internal complications. David became ill on Saturday with what appeared to be tonsillitis. Monday noon his condition was much worse and he was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where he died at eight o’clock that evening.
David Eskritt was born January 2, 1934 at Stevens Point. He came to Milan with his parents several years ago. When the Milan school opened this fall David started school.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Eskritt, two younger brothers, Ellis and Harry, Jr., and one sister, Myrna Lenice, age two months.
The body was brought to Milan, Wednesday, and then taken to the Boston Funeral Home at Stevens Point on Thursday.
Funeral services will be conducted there on Friday afternoon at two o’clock. Internment will be made in the cemetery there.
