Killed in Accident
Lester Cramer, 44, son of Mrs. Lizzie Cramer, was fatally injured at about 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon when he fell from a load of hay breaking his neck.
Lester, who is employed at the Roddis Plywood Corp. at Marshfield, was on Vacation and had gone to the farm of a cousin, Ted Oelrich, where the accident occurred. Ted went to him upon noticing the fall and Lester was alive then but was pronounced dead at the arrival at the office of Dr. Callahan, where he was brought. Time of death was estimated at 3:45 P.M.
Lester, a son of the late Frank Cramer and Lizzie Cramer, made his home in Spencer with his mother.
The body will lie in state at the Swarthout Funeral Home until 12:30 P.M. Friday when it will be taken to Trinity Lutheran Church where funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Randolph Mueller at 2 P.M. Burial will be in the North Spencer Cemetery beside his father.
Surviving besides his mother are two brothers, Leonard and Earl, Spencer; two sisters, Mrs. Delmer (Lela) Bruesewitz, Town of Unity and Mrs. Lester (Margaret) Willner, Medford.
