Marvin, June M. (16 MAR 1936 – 20 APR 2017)

JUNE M. MARVIN, age 81, of Greenwood, WI, passed away at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, in Marshfield, WI, on Thursday, April 20, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood, with Rev. Steve Brice officiating. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held at the church, on Thursday, from 10am until time of service.

June Marie Wolf was born on March 16, 1936 in the Town of Sherman, rural Loyal, WI, the daughter of Frank and Mildred (Foat) Wolf. She was raised on the family farm and received her education at Griffith School in Loyal, then at St. Anthony's Catholic School and Loyal High School. June was united in marriage to Kenneth R. Marvin on August 2, 1958 at St Anthony Catholic Church in Loyal, WI. They moved to Evansville, WI where they lived until returning to Greenwood in 1961, after purchasing her husband's family farm in the Town of Eaton. Together, they farmed and raised their two children until selling the farm in 1979. She then worked for the Greenwood School District as a cook until 1984, and then they operated the Greenwood Home for the elderly and disabled until 1991. June then worked as a caregiver doing home care in Withee and then later for Roberta Pabich in Greenwood. In 1994, she went to work for WeatherShield, in Greenwood, where she worked until 2006. Her last employment was at Mayville's Market, in Greenwood, where she worked in the deli from 2008 to 2011.

June was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Ann's Society. She had many interests, but especially loved her flowers, fishing, spending time with her grandchildren, and feeding & watching birds.

She is survived by her children: Scott Marvin (Amy King) of Greenwood, Tami (Glen) Klueckmann of Neillsville; four grandchildren: Taylor Martin, Hoyt Klueckmann, Stefanie Marvin and Marcus Marvin; her dear companion: Arvin Gade of Greenwood; 12 siblings: Norman (Monica) Wolf of Spencer, Virginia Schmitz of Granton, Irene (Pete) Breu of Marshfield, Mary (Roy) Rasmussen of Greenwood, Arnold (Delores) Wolf of Chili, Laurette (Chuck) Gleisner of Spencer, Larry Wolf of Ladysmith, Rachelle (Randy) Haslow of Greenwood, Clarice (Richard) Clark of Greenwood, Dennis (Gloria) Wolf of Marshfield, Randal (Rosie) Wolf of Unity, Renee (Rodney) Schoen of Neillsville; one sister-in-law: Doris Wolf of Stratford; one brother-in-law: David Kautzer of Loyal; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Janet Metcalfe and Delores Kautzer; one brother: Patrick Wolf; and 5 brothers-in-law: Merlin Gardner, Stanley Metcalfe, John Castner, Dennis Bauer and Marlin Schmitz.

The family would like to thank Deidra Marvin-Hansen for all of her care, compassion and time shown to June over the years.
