Stade, Deloris Beverly (Farkas) (12 OCT 1937 - 24 APR 2017)
Deloris Beverly Stade, 79, Prentice died at her home on Monday, April 24, 2017
while under the care of Hope Hospice and Palliative Care and her family.
She was born on October 12, 1937, in Kennan, the daughter of Joseph and Pearl
(Jackson) Farkas. She made her home in Ely, Minnesota as a youth. She returned
to Wisconsin with her family in 1950. She attended school in Tomahawk. She was
married to Ronald “Ron” Stade on June 19, 1954, in Prentice. They made their
home in Prentice following their marriage.
She was employed at various occupations including the owner/operator of Liberty
Café, Prentice, by Phillips Plastics, as a CNA at Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing
Home, at the Bee and then helped her husband with their dairy farm until the
time of their retirement.
She was an active member of the VFW Auxillary and the Lions Club of Prentice and
was always willing to help with community projects.
In her free time she enjoyed crafts, being outdoors, bowling, and spending time
with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of over 62 years, Ron, Prentice, by 3 children:
Terry (Joellen) Stade, Oak Grove, Minn., Jeannette Stade, Marysville, Kansas,
and Roni (Larry) Vanderhoof, Prentice, 14 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren,
1 Great-Great Granddaughter, and 2 brothers: Zane (Violet) Farkas, Wausau, and
Mervin Farkas, Bloomington, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by 1 daughter: Tammy Adams, and 1
Sister-In-Law Bonnie Farkas.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 28, 2017, at the
Ogema Baptist Church, Ogema, with Pastor Rodney Price officiating. Interment
will take place at
the Stade Home in Prentice on Saturday, April 29, 2017.
Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Ogema Baptist
Church until the time of the service.
The Heindl Funeral Home, Prentice, is in charge of the arrangements.
