Bonnie L. Niewolny, 65, Wausau died Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born April 1, 1951 in Wausau to Ethel (Schultheiss) Niewolny, Wausau and the late Clarence Niewolny. For many years Bonnie was a computer programmer at Eaton Corporation in Minneapolis and Milwaukee. She most recently was working at the NTC in Wausau as a computer programmer. Some of her favorite pastimes included tending to her flowers, keeping up her lawn, reading and spending quality time with her companion, Abby. Bonnie enjoyed taking trips to visit her fellow coworkers in Minneapolis and she also found time to take an occasional trip to the casino. Bonnie took great pride in being a caregiver for her mother Ethel. She will be dearly missed by her many friends and especially her family.

Survivors include her mother, Ethel Niewolny, Wausau, her siblings, Perry (Ann) Niewolny, Sheboygan Falls and Debra Callahan, Wausau, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. The Rev. Robert Thorn will preside. Interment will be Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Bonnie's name.
