Reisner, Emma (1 NOV 1887 – 25 JUN 1972)
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran
Church at Granton for Mrs. Emma Reisner, 84, formerly of the Granton area, who
died at Memorial Home late Sunday. The Rev. Roland Roehrs officiated and burial
took place in the church cemetery.
The Georgas Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Reisner, the former Emma Bertha Moths, was born November 1, 1887, in the
town of Lynn (Clark Co., Wis.), and was educated there. She was married to
Albert Gotter and they operated a farm. After his death she lived with her
parents in the town of Lynn. She remarried at Granton to Charles Reisner, and
they resided in the Lynn ara until his death, after which she made her home with
a son-in-law and daughter for 18 years. For the past several year she had been a
resident of Memorial Home.
She was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church at Granton.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Leona) Sternitzky, Granton;
Miss Viola Gotter, Milwaukee; and Mrs. Melvin (Louella) Garbisch, Granton; 11
grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by two sons, Elmer and Egon.
