The Greenwood Satellites 4-H Club was searching for the oldest couple practicing
framing in the Town of Warner Eaton (Clark Co., Wis.). Mr. and Mrs. Earl Worden,
76, was crowned King and Queen for the township.
Earl has been on his farm 41 years in Warner. He has farmed a total of 60 years,
ever since he was fifteen.
The couple attended the June 22, 1972 meeting and were presented with crowns and
a gift of dairy products. Mr. Worden spoke to the club about the changes in
dairying in their lifetime..
