Wesenberg, Marlene (15 SEP 1938 – 29 JUN 1972)
Mrs. Arnold Wesenberg, 33, Route 2, Granton, passed away Thursday, June 29,
1972, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services for Mrs. Arnold Wesenberg were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St.
Stephens Catholic Church in Chili, with Rev. Robert Housten officiating. Burial
will take place in the parish cemetery.
The Gilbertson Funeral Home at Granton was in charge of arrangements. An Altar
Society Rosary was held at 7:30 p.m. Friday eveing, and a general Rosary service
was held at 8 o'clock.
Mrs. Wesenberg, the former Marlene Rollins, and born September 15, 1938, in the
town of Fremont, and was educated there and at Loyal High School. She was
married on September 13, 1958, at Chili (Clark Co., Wis.), to Arnold Wesenberg,
and they moved to a farm in the town of Lynn (Clark Co.).
Mrs. Wesenberg is survived by her husband, by two daughters, Cindy and Sandra,
and a son, Keith, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rollins,
Spencer; five sisters, Mrs. David Lavey, Granton; Mrs. Donald Mahoney, Chili;
Mrs. Darrel Laschen, Loyal; Mrs. Tom Pernsteiner, Granton, and Mrs. Charles Ress
Jr., Marshfield; four brothers, Duane Rollins, Chili; Verlyn Rollins, Chili;
Jerry Rollins, Osseo, and Dennis Rollins, Spencer..
