Tumm, Linda L. (17 JUN 1972)
Roger J. Tieman, son of Mrs. Don Tieman of Greenwood, and Linda L. Tumm,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Armond Tumm of Osseo, were united in marriage on June
17, 1972 at Grace Lutheran Church, Augusta, in a 2 p.m. ceremony performed by
Rev. E.G. Schedler.
Linda's empire gown was of a white nylon blend with lace and bead work trim,
fashioned with long sleeves and lace train. Her fingertip veil featured a lace
crown and a scalloped lace edge. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and white
carnations.
The bridal attendants were dressed in satin empire gowns with long chiffon
sleeves and flowered overskirts trimmed with ribbon at the waistline. Each wore
a matching headpiece and carried a basket of colored daisies. Fay Tumm of Osseo,
the maid of honor, wore blue; Joan Tumm of Osseo wore pink; and Susan Shutter of
St. Paul wore green.
The groom's party consisted of Gary Schweiss of Spencer, best man, Daniel
Oelhafen of Milwaukee, and Terry Mestan of Delavan.
The reception following the wedding was held at the Osseo Country Club.
The couple will make their new home in Vernon Hills, Illinois..
