Weideman, Marianne (Skutak) (15 AUG 1932 - 30 APR 2017)
Marianne (Skutak) Weideman, age 84, formally of Curtiss passed away on Sunday,
April 30, 2017, at the Aspirus Care and Rehab in Medford, WI.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Curtiss
Alliance Church in Curtiss. Pastor Carl Swarr will officiate.
Family and friends are welcome from 1:00 until the time of service Wednesday at
the church. Interment will follow at the Pine Hill Cemetery.
Marianne was born on August 15, 1932, the daughter of Adam and Emma (Reigel)
Skutak in the town of Hoard. She attended Midway School in the town of Hoard and
then attended Owen High
School. Marianne was united in marriage to Harvey Weideman on February 28, 1950,
at the Owen Gospel Tabernacle.
Together they farmed in rural Curtiss and raised two children. Marianne enjoyed
music; especially Christian music. She played the accordion, the piano by ear
and enjoyed singing. Her family was very important to her.
Marianne is survived by her son, Terry of Curtiss and her daughter, Sandra
Aschbrenner of Medford, granddaughter, Traci (Jonathan) Wass of Grand Blanc, MI
and great-grandsons, Ethan and Benjamin Wass. She is further survived by her
brothers James (Myrna) Skutak of Stockton,
California; and William (Donna) Skutak of Mosinee; a sister: Beverly (Daniel)
Erickson of Curtiss; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; Harvey (August 2014), her
brother and sister-in-law; John and Carolyn Skutak of Columbia, Mississippi; her
nephews; Mark Skutak of Stockton, CA and John Skutak of Vancouver, WA.
