Rakovec, Patricia Ann (24 JUN 1972)
Patricia Ann Rakovec, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Rakovec, Route 2, Greenwood
(Clark Co., Wis.), and Alden Ray Dahl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willmer Dahl, Route
1, Osseo, were married at 2:00 p.m., June 24, 1972, at the Osseo Evangelical
Lutheran Church, with the Pastor Leroy A. Johnsrud officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
For her wedding, the bride chose a floor length empire styled bridal gown of
imported organza, fashioned with bishop sleeves and a high neckline. Venice lace
embellished the A-line silhouette, highlighted by a sweeping chapel train. She
also wore a floor length veil and carried a bouquet of yellow roses.
Mrs. Ken (Joan) Severson was matron of honor, and Miss Donna Dahl and Lois
Fugina were bridesmaids.
Mr. Willis Dahl was best man, and groomsmen were Jerold Rakovec and Terry
Halverson.
Ushering were Tim Briggs and Mike Rakovec.
A reception was held at the church educational building.
After a trip to Niagara Falls, the young couple will reside at Thorp (Clark Co.,
Wis.)..
