Tichansky, Robert J. (21 OCT 1954 - 1 MAY 2017)

Robert J. Tichansky, 62 of Huron-rural Stanley, died Monday, May 1, 2017 at home.

He was born on October 21, 1954 in New Jersey the son of the late Michael and Amelia (Gural) Tichansky. Robert initially grew up in New Jersey until his family moved to Texas. When he
was 18 he moved to Huron to take over his uncle’s farm. On July 19, 1980 he married Joy Ducommun. Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Joy Tichansky of Gilman, his children, Robert Tichansky, II of Medford, James (Rochelle) Tichansky of Junction City, KS and Jessica Tichansky at home along with his grandson: Christopher, two brothers, Michael (Judith) Tichansky of Dallas, TX, Peter Tichansky of Flower Mound, TX and two sisters, Bonnie (Wayne) Nelson of New Jersey and Sue (Tyson) Harding of TX.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Edward.

A private family service was held.
