Miss Sharon Kollmansberger, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Ervin Kollmansberger,
R.R., Unity (Clark Co., Wis.), and Allen Griepentrog, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene
Griepentrog, R.R., Unity, were united in marriage at 2:00 p.m., July 8, 1972, at
the Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, with Pastor Wm. Ruhbusch officiating.
The bride's sister, Patricia Kollmansberger, Unity, was maid of honor, and
bridesmaids were Dorothy Wilhelmi, Abbotsford; Diane Chapman, Wausau; Mrs.
Barbara Paschke, Owen; and Miss Jane Griepentrog, Unity.
Roger Griepentrog, Unity, was his brother's best man, and groomsmen were Roger
Griepentrog, Unity; Kenneth Wilhelmi, Abbotsford; Dale Chapman, Wausau; James
Paschke, Owen, and Ervin Kollmansberger, brother of the bride.
Junior bridesmaid was Miss Connie Griepentrog.
For her wedding, the bride wore a long dress with a train, a high collard, and
empire waist. She had a shoulder length veil and her headpiece was of ribbon
with tear drop trimmings. Her bouquet consisted of red roses, red carnations and
baby's breath.
For something old the bride carried her grandmother's wedding band.
The bride's attendants wore gowns of turquoise skirts with white bounce and
waist length turquoise veils fastened to headpieces of ribbon. They carried long
stem yellow roses.
Mrs. Don Warner, Greenwood, was the organist,a nd Dennis Kollmansberger, brother
of the bride, sang "The Lord's Prayer" and the congregation sang "Perfect Love."
A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, with a supper at
Trinity Lutheran Church. A wedding dance was held at the Memorial Hall.
Mrs. Griepentrog graduated from Greenwood High School in 1964 and is employed at
Land O'Lakes Cheese, Spencer.
Her husband graduated in 1966 from Colby High School and is employed at Land
O'Lakes Cheese, Spencer.
The newlyweds are at home in Spencer.
