Dahl, Berneta A. (Faber) (8 APR 1933 - 8 SEP 2010)
Berneta A. Dahl, 77, Medford, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010 at St. Joseph’s
Hospital in Marshfield.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 13 at St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran
Church in the Town of Goodrich, with Rev. Terry Reich officiating. Burial was at
St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in the Town of Goodrich.
Pallbearers were he grandsons, Michael, Thomas and Steven Dahl, Cole Ziehlke,
Adam Schwarz and Jesse Redetzke.
Hemer Funeral Home of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.
The former Berneta Faber was born April 8, 1933 in the Town of Goodrich to the
late Peter and Leone (Marschner) Faber Sr. She attended Woodville Grade in the
Town of Goodrich and was a graduate of Medford High School. She worked in
Minneapolis, Minn., and was a clerk at the Broadway Store in Medford for periods
of time.
On June 5, 1954 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medford, she married
Lyle Dahl, who survives. They farmed in the Town of Goodrich until her
retirement in 1995.
She was a member of St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.
She enjoyed traveling, cooking and reading.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Bradley (Ramona) of
Medford; two daughters, Nancy (David) Ziehlke and Julie (Brian) Rouiller, both
of Medford; a sister, Carol (Elmer) Riemann of Medford; four brothers, Norbert
of Merrill, and Everett (Marion), Gene and James (Donna), all of Medford; eight
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter; and
four brothers, Harley, Willard, Robert and Peter Jr.
