Wiersig, Linda L. (2 JUL 1972)
At 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, 1972, Miss Linda L. Wiersig, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Harold Wiersig, route 1, Unity, and Thomas M. Brehm, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Roland Brehm, also of route 1, Unity, repeated their marriage vows in the Peace
Campus Center at Stevens Point.
The Rev. James Schneider officiated and the bride was given away by her father.
Ronald Boss of Colby was the organist and David Yonker, Marshfield, was
guitarist and singer for the nuptial service.
Miss Wiersig wore a gown of nylon organza over satin, with ribboned Venice lace
accents and chapel sweep train, and wreath of daisies and baby's breath in her
hair. She carried a basket of daisies and baby's breath.
Attendants of the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Boss of route 1, Colby. Mrs.
Boss wore a royal blue printed voile gown of peasant style and had a nosegay of
white and yellow daisies and baby's breath.
Dennis Brehm and Gerry Brehm served as ushers. The wedding dinner was served at
the Hot Fish Shop in Stevens Point, and the reception and cane took place at the
Trianon Ballroom in Athens.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Brehm are 1969 graduates of Colby High School. He attended the
University of Wisconsin, Stout, at Menomonie, and she is presently attending the
University Wisconsin, Stevens Point.
The newlyweds are making their home at 2625A Ellis St., Stevens Point.
