Humke, Karlene (15 JUL 1972)

Karlene Humke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eldore H. Humke, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Thomas Krall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aloys Krall, Neillsville, were married Saturday, Jul 15, 1972, at 1:30 p.m. in the Immanuel United Church of Christ, R. 2, Greenwood.

The Rev. Pacifico Camarin Jr. and Father Charles D. Brad officiated at the service, for which Mrs. Pacifico Camarin Jr. sang "The Lord's Prayer," with Mrs. Leona Albert as organist.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length A-line gown which extended into a tiered ruffled cathedral train. The Bishop sleeves, bodice, panel down center and front, and ruffles on train, were Schiferl embroidery. It featured a mandarin collar, Venice lace edged hemline, cuffs and neckline. A crystal studded Venice headpiece held chapel length and bouffant veil. A cascade of white majestic daisies with ivy was carried by the bride.

Miss Linda Kay Bolf, Greenwood, was maid of honor, with Miss Alice Ann Awe, Owen and Miss Gwen Klein, Spencer, as bridesmaids. They wore gowns of maize chiffon with modified waistline and wore matching Venice lace headpieces with pouf veils. Each carried a cascade of yellow and white pompon daisies and ivy.

LeRoy Krall, Neillsville, was best man, with Mr. DaNeil Humke, Greenwood, and Mr. John Hake, Neillsville, as groomsmen.

Performing ushering duties were Terry Krall, Oconomowoc and Keith, Marg, Neillsville.

A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, with a 4:00 p.m. dinner at the church dining hall. A social evening and dancing from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. were held at the home of the bride's parents.

Mrs. Krall is a 1971 graduate of the Greenwood schools, and is employed as a unit clerk in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Her husband attended Neillsville schools and is presently engaged in farming.

After a wedding trip to the southern states, they will make their home at Rt. 2, Neillsville.
