Another landmark in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) is being torn down to make room
for progress. Recently the former Mid-State Cheese Corporation building, located
south of the Farmer Store, was purchased by Greenwood Milk Products Co-op. They
plan to use the land for future growth, but as yet have not decided just what
will be put there.
The building was originally built by C.E. Blodgett of Marshfield, and was used
for cheese storage. The building was purchased by Stewart's Redville Dairy and
then Mid-State Cheese Corp. purchased the building.
Art Bushman and sons are in charge of removing the building.
