Lampe, Tarsilla "Sally" (Willenborg) (1 OCT 1922 - 15 MAY 2017)
Tarsilla "Sally" Lampe, 94, Marathon, passed peacefully Monday May 15, 2017 at
Aspirus Hospice House, Wausau.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Thursday May 18, 2017 at St.
Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. Rev. Msgr. Joseph Diermeier will preside. Burial
will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the
church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon, is in charge of arrangements.

Sally was born October 1, 1922 in Templeton, Iowa, daughter of the late Henry
and Ida (Uhlenkamp) Willenborg. On October 19, 1947, she married Herman Lampe in
Manning, Iowa. He preceded her in death August 27, 1974.
Sally worked for 25 years at Marathon Cheese Corporation retiring in 1990. An
active member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Sally also volunteered at St. Anthony
Retreat Center. Among her favorite things to do were crocheting, sewing, puzzles
and spending time with her family. She was also an avid reader and gardener.
Survivors include her four loving children, Robert (Kathy) Lampe, Rothschild;
Eileen Wiese, Dousman; Karen (Terry) Steiner, Grafton; Daniel (Michelle) Lampe,
Marathon; nine grandchildren, Kristin Lampe (Matt Schmitz); Evan Lampe
(Hsiao-Pei Yen); Amanda Lampe; Jeremy (Jamie) Wiese; Dana (Patrick) Stinnett;
Kyle and Bret Steiner; Michael and Danielle Lampe and 11 great grandchildren,
Ty, Brooke, Ninel, Jocelyn, Rylee, Addison, Morgan, Jacob, Carter, Liam and
Claire.
Sally is also survived by one brother, Leo (Darlene) Willenborg and three
sisters, Bernice Naber, Edna (Ray) Tigges and Elaine Heulshorst and two
brothers-in-law, Albert (Margaret) and Marvin Lampe and three sisters-in-law,
Norma and Ardella Willenborg and Isabelle Dentlinger.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers,
Marvin and Henry Willenborg; one sister, Jeanette Lampe; brothers-in-law,
Clarence and Joseph Lampe, Myron Naber and Gene Heulshorst; sister-in-law,
Dorothy Meister and one son-in-law, Chet Wiese.
The Lampe family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Aspirus Hospice House
and Rev. Msgr. Joseph Diermeier.
