Nearly 1,750 students at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, won honors
during the second semester for scholastic achievement. Dr. Gordon Haferbecker,
assistant chancellor for academic affairs has announced.
Granton students receive honors are: Highest Honors to Rosanne Rose, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Grant Rose, Route 1, Granton; High Honors to Diane Wegner, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wegner, Route 2; and Honors to Edward Smith, son of Mr.
and Mrs. James Smith, Route 2, Granton.
Greenwood students receiving honors are: Highest Honors to Judith Brux, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux, Route 3; High Honors to Jerome Briski, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Michael Briski Jr., Route 3; and Honors to Lee Susa, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Giles Susa, Route 1.
Loyal students are: High Honors to Jack Guzman, son of Mrs. Melva Guzman, 210
Main Street; Honors to Thomas Collins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Collins, 308
South, and Sheila Trindal, daughter of Mrs. Dorothie Trindal, 606 South Main.
