The sad news of Rev. Colby’s death was received Monday. He died Sunday at his home at Waupaca of pneumonia and had been sick only a few days. For several years he has conducted services here in the Baptist church quite regularly and by his friendly ways and true Christian life has endeared himself to all who knew him. His family have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in and around Spencer.
