Schwantes, Roy (9 APR 1904 – 2 AUG 1972)

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rux Funeral Home for Roy Schwantes, 68, route 2, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), who died in the Clark County Hospital, Owen, on August 2, 1972 at 11:00 p.m. Burial was made in Trinity Cemetery at the North St. John's Church, and the Rev. David Ault officiated. Pallbearers were Marvin Naedler, William C. Naedler, Larry Naedler, Dennis Naedler, Erwin Greeler, and Dale Nanstad.

Roy Schwantes was born April 9, 1904, in the town of Unity, Clark County. He received his education in the Spencer schools.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. William (Linda) Naedler, route 1, Granton; two sons, Harry Schwantes, St. Petersburg, Florida and Arthur Schwantes, Minneapolis, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Fredericke, and four brothers and four sisters.
