On Saturday and Sunday, August 19 and 20, Our Savior's Lutheran Church,
Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), will celebrate its centennial with the Rev. David
Wenger, pastor, serving as host minister.
A reunion dinner will be served in the Greenwood High School Gymnasium,
Saturday, August 19, at 7:30 p.m., in honor of past and present members of the
church.
At the 9 a.m. service, August 20, Rev. Norbert Jolivette, Jessup, Iowa, will
deliver the sermon. At the 10:30 a.m. church service, the same day, the Rev.
Harold Verhulst, Sioux Falls, S.D., will deliver the centennial sermon.
A centennial dinner will be served at 12 noon at the Greenwood Gymnasium on
August 20 for members of the church and their families. At 2 p.m. an informal
service will be held in the church, with several former pastors bringing
greetings. Special music at this service will be provided by the former Ladies
Chorus, organized and directed by pastor Norson during his pastorate of 1937 –
47.
