Dyre, Arlene Carol (5 AUG 1972)

Miss Arlene Carol Dyre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Dyer, route 3, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and David M. McFarlane, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald McFarlane, Willard, said their marriage vows in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Greenwood, at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 1972.

The Rev. David E. Wenger, pastor, officiated at the nuptial ceremony, for which Mrs. Donald Warner was organist and Mrs. Duane Olson, Soloist.

Coming before the altar with her father, Miss Dyre was seen in a full length entrained gown of lace and organza, and a veil of illusion held to a pearl crown of pearl and crystal. Her flowers were arranged of white and yellow daisies and red roses.

Organza chiffon was worn by the bridal aides, each of whom had a matching ribbon in her hair and a white and yellow daisy bouquet.

Mrs. Donald Szepanski and Mr. Alan McFarlane served as honor attendants, and Mr. Donald Szepanski was groomsman and Mrs. Alan McFarlane was brides matron.

Candle lighters for the church service were Joseph LaMonica, Rolling Meadows, Ill., and Patrick McFarlane of Greenwood. Sharing ushering duties were Richard Olson, Glenwood City and Roger Ashbeck, Greenwood.

The newlyweds greeted their wedding guests at a reception and dinner at 4:30 o'clock that afternoon in the church parlors. Their wedding dance was held in the evening at the Legion Hall in Owen.

Mr. and Mrs. David M. McFarlane will reside at Pine Terrace Court in Greenwood, after a honeymoon to Niagara Falls.

Mr. and Mrs. McFarlane are 1971 graduates of Greenwood High School. She is employed bo I.L.C. Conrath Products in Spencer, and he is employed by Greenwood Milk Products Corp, Greenwood.
