Kaiser, Martha S. (Andres) (2 FEB 1922 - 3 SEP 2007)
Martha S. Kaiser, 85, Edgar, died Monday, September 3, 2007 at St. Joseph
Hospital, Marshfield.
She was born February 2, 1922 in Rozellville, daughter of the late Edward and
Mayme (Freboldt) Andres. On June 11, 1941, she married Ralph Kaiser at St.
Andrew Catholic Church, Rozellville. He preceded her in death on September 17,
2004.
Martha and Ralph farmed in the Edgar area for many years and owned and operated
the former Kaiser Shoe Store, Edgar for 14 years, until their retirement. Among
her many interests, she enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her
family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her later years, Martha and
her husband enjoyed staying in Florida, during the winter months.
Survivors include, three daughters, Marilyn Hack, Marathon, Paulette Lang, Edgar
and Barbara (Edward) Solinsky, Mosinee; four sons, James (Florence) Kaiser,
Sheboygan Falls, Dennis (Emily) Kaiser, Edgar, Edward (Elizabeth) Kaiser,
Hastings, Minn. and Mark (Laurie) Kaiser, Sheboygan; 27 grandchildren; 36 great
grandchildren; four brothers, Arthur (Judith) Andres, Marshfield, Harold
(Rosalie) Andres, Auburndale, Jerome (Helen) Andres, Stratford and Edward
(Shirley) Andres, Marshfield; one sister-in-law, Jeanette Andres, Marshfield;
one brother-in-law, Henry Marty, Owen; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Ralph, she was preceded in death by one
daughter, Sharon Stencil; one son-in-law, Louis Hack; one brother, Donald
Andres; and three sisters, Eleanor Carolfi, Marie Marty and Helen Streigel.
The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2007 at St.
John Catholic Church, Edgar. Rev. Norman Boneck will preside. Burial will be in
the parish cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and
again Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services, all at the church. There
will be a parish rosary service at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the church.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to St. John Catholic Church or St. John Catholic
School.
