Pribbernow, Alvin H. Jr. (31 OCT 1933 - 16 MAY 2017)

Alvin H. Pribbernow, Jr., age 83, of Owen, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center in Owen.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. The Rev. Thomas Myhre will officiate.

Family and friends are welcome from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm on Friday, May 19 and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Saturday all at the funeral home in Owen. A private committal service will take place for Alvin, Alice and Gerald at Riverside Cemetery in the Town of Hixon on June 10.

Alvin was born on October 31, 1933, the son of Alvin and Martha (Hanneman) Pribbernow, Sr. in Withee. He was united in marriage to Alice O'Brien on September 14, 1963 at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Thorp. She preceded him in death on December 28, 2016.

Alvin worked for Owen Dairy and Teledyne in Owen as a sawyer. He was a member of Saint John’s Lutheran Church. Alvin enjoyed deer hunting, camping and watching westerns on TV.

Alvin is survived by two sons; Bruce (Bonnie) Pribbernow of Marshfield and Richard (Judy) Pribbernow of Milan; a grandson; Skyler Michael (Carmen) Pribbernow of Abbotsford, step-grand-daughters; Christine (Eric) Wolf of Marshfield, and Tara (Evan) Sullivan of Green Bay, step great-grand-daughters; Gracie Wolf, Madison Sullivan, Pryia Sullivan and Emma Wolf. He is further survived by his sisters-in-law, Ilene Pribbernow of Owen, Kathy Pribbernow of Sheboygan and Arlin Pribbernow of Marshfield; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice; a son, Gerald; nine siblings: Lucille, Betty, Evelyn, Earl, Ben, Robert, Donald, Rueben and Charles.
