Mrs. Myrtle Radke, Columbus, has been a house guests at the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Farnsworth, the past week. She also visited at the Carryl Farnsworth home in Marshfield, and with other area friends.

Miss Gertrude Holmes is observing her 90th birthday today, October 2. Congratulations are extended to one of Granton's oldest citizens. Miss Holmes is very active, alert, and is living alone. At present she is spending the nights with Mrs. Jennie Hayden since Ruby Anthony became ill, and now is living at Memorial Home.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Meier at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville, on September 30, 1972. The maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Dave Winkel, Granton.

Sunday evening visitors at the Hugo Trimberger home were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Trimberger of Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hillert were Sunday afternoon visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Worchel, Spencer.

Mr. and Mrs. Lucien Moh and Mitzi, accompanied by Mrs. Lyle Doehr, Chili, and Mrs. Mabel Doehr, Marshfield, drove to Hayward on Sunday and visited Mrs. Hulda Doehr, and also Mr. and Mrs. Fred Doehr and Roger at Ladysmith. They reported the scenery beautiful and the leaves more colorful than in this area at present.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hillert were visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Sternitzky last Sunday evening.
