The Granton Women's Civic Club met at the William Lehman home on Monday evening, October 3. Edna Lehman, President, called the meeting to order. A report on the handicraft display at the Fall Festival was given. The program consisted of a discussion on the election issues, with each member contributing. Moderator was Mrs. Jack Crothers. Joyce Sherman of Chili joined the club, and Genevieve White was a visitor, Mrs. Walter Trimberger was the hostess of the evening.

On Saturday afternoon Mrs. Jack Crothers drove to River Falls, where she was a weekend guests of her sister, Miss Imogene Nelson.

Merle Bartsch place fourth in a golf tournament at Wis. Rapids on Saturday and Sunday, October 1 and 2. Others entering from Neillsville were Darwin Graves, Glen Zilk, and Dan Shield. Peter Bartsch went along and caddied.

The Romadka 4-H Club will meet on Thursday evening at the William Naedler Jr. home. Mrs. Naedler is general leader.
