Kummer, Kristine J. (Berg) (19 NOV 1970 - 27 MAY 2017)
Kristine J. Kummer, 46, of Howard Road, Medford, died on Saturday, May 27, 2017,
in Chippewa County, the result of an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, June 1, at Zion Ev. Lutheran
Church, Stetsonville, with Rev. Richard Russow officiating. Interment will be at
Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.
Honorary pallbearer is Lucas Ulrich; Active pallbearers are Earl, Terri & Bill
Berg, Cindy, Lon, Brett, Koltin & Trey Ulrich.
Visitation will be at the Hemer Funeral Home, Medford from 4-8 PM on Wednesday,
May 31 and also at church from 9:30 AM until the time of services at 10:30 AM on
Thursday, June 1.
Kristine was born on November 19, 1970, at Chippewa Falls, WI, to Earl & Barbara
(Beck) Berg, Sr., of Gilman. She attended Gilman Elementary school and was a
1988 graduate of Gilman High School where she was active in track and cross
country sports.
On October 11, 1997, at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Stetsonville Kristine was
married to David “Butch” J. Kummer, Jr.
For the past number of years, she has worked as a supervisor at the former B & B
Engineering, currently, Frontline in Medford at the time of her death. She was
very active in her children’s and nephew’s activities including high school
sports & stock car racing. She enjoyed scrapbooking and crafting. Her family was
her life. Her favorite numbers were 6, 12 & 24. She was a member of Zion Ev.
Lutheran Church, Stetsonville.
Kristine is survived by her husband David “Butch” J. Kummer, Jr. of Medford, her
parents Earl & Barbara (Beck) Berg, Sr. of Gilman, in-laws Sue & David Kummer
Sr. of Medford,
children Cody (fiancé-Nicole) Kummer of Medford and Lakyn Kummer of UW-Eau
Claire.
She is further survived by siblings Earl (Terri) Berg, Jr. of Gilman, Bill Berg
of Gilman and sister-in-law: Cindy (Lon) Ulrich of Medford.
