Niznik, Ronald R. (11 AUG 1950 - 26 MAY 2017)
Ronald R. Niznik, 66, of Stetsonville passed away on Friday, May 26 at home.
Ronald was born on August 11, 1950 to Paul Sr. and Mary Niznik in Medford. He
was a 1969 graduate of Owen-Withee High School.
After school he joined the Air Force in 1969, where he served as a Loadmaster on
aircrafts during the Vietnam War. He married Dawn Miller on June 15, 1974, she
preceded him in death.
In his spare time Ronald enjoyed watching the Packers, spoiling his
grandchildren, outdoor activities, tinkering with his tractors, cutting wood,
traveling with family, discussing politics, snowmobiling, and spending time with
his family.
Ronald is survived by his children, Craig Niznik of Stetsonville, Justin
(Lindsey) Niznik of Augusta, WI, and Aaron Niznik of Providence, RI;
grandchildren, Elsie, Abigail, and one on the way Margaret.
He is also survived by his siblings, Paul Niznik Jr. of Medford, Robert
(Roberta) Niznik of Holcombe, Dan (Pam) Niznik of Medford, Jerry (Kye) Niznik of
Colorado Springs, CO, Bonnie (Steve) Pawello of Rhinelander, Marlene (Michael)
Eisner of Stetsonville, Pauline (Lee) Williams of Owen, and Sherrie (Karl Knabel)
Niznik of Puyallup, WA. He is further survived by many other family and friends.
In addition to his wife Ronald is preceded in death by his parents and brother,
Gary Niznik.
Funeral services for Ronald will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday May 30 at
Hemer Funeral Home, Medford, with Rev Richard Russow officiating; burial will
follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 30 at the funeral home from 10:00
A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in honor of Ronald can be given to his
family, for designation at a later date.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford and Rib Lake has been entrusted with
arrangements.
