Lemke, Norman J. (2 FEB 1930 – 5 OCT 1972)
Norman John Lemke, 42, 243 S. 16th Avenue, West Bend, Wisconsin, died at about
10:20 a.m. October 5, 1972, as a result of an auto-train-truck accident on
Highway 10 East of Marshfield.
Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal
(Clark Co., Wis.). Burial was made in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. William
Humlie officiated at the services.
The Hansen Funeral Home, Marshfield, was in charge of arrangements.
Norman Lemke was born February 2, 1930, in Loyal, and received his education in
Loyal area schools. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lemke, R. 1, Loyal.
Mr. Lemke was married to the former Jen Krueger at Medford on April 10, 1954. He
lived at Fort Dodge, Iowa, after his marriage, from 1954 to 1961, when they
moved to West Bend. He was a field manager for Tri-Associates, Inc., a feed
specialty company.
Mr. Lemke is survived by his wife Jean, four children, Catherine, David, Debra
and Robert; one brother, Harold Lemke, R. 1, Loyal; and his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Lemke of Loyal.
He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in West Bend, Wisconsin.
