Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pernsteiner Jr. returned home on Monday evening after a 5 day visit at Kansas City, Mo. On Friday, October 20, they attended the 25th wedding anniversary of relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Dorvon C. Lewer, which was held at the Lenwood South Country Club, Kansas City. Mr. Lewer is a former resident of this area and a brother of Mrs. Persteiner. Their trip was made by plane to Kansas City, and therefore had more to visit and enjoy the trip.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Hillert and son Brian, Tomah, were visitors with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hillert, on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. William Lehman spent the weekend at Appleton visiting their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Merlvin Smith and family.

Officers elected at the quarterly meeting at Christ Lutheran Church, Chili, for 1973 are President, Marvin Menger; Secretary and Financial Secretary, Elmer Steffen; Treasurer, Victor Seehofer; Deascon, Robert Brett, and Trustee, Harold Montag.

Mr. and Mrs. Leland Garbisch spent last Sunday at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Marshall, Neillsville.

The quarterly meeting of Zion Lutheran Church was held Tuesday evening. Newly elected officers for 1973 are the following: President, Ray Foemmel; Vice-President, Erling Dahl; Secretary, Robert Schiel; Financial Secretary, Eldon Helm; Trustee, Edward Garbisch, and Elder, William Weichelt.

Mrs. Gerhardt Roehrs has returned to Chicago with her son-in-law and daughter, after a month's visit with her son and daughter-in-law, Rev. and Mrs. Roland Roehrs and family. Mrs. Roehrs is planning to return to her home in California after the Christmas holidays.
