Trimner, Pat (Collins) (22 JAN 1927 - 20 MAY 2017)
Pat Trimner, 90, of Albany, formerly of Abbotsford, passed away May 20, 2017, at
the Monroe Hospital.
A memorial service will be held June 24, 2017, at the Presbyterian Church in
Abbotsford. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. with the service to follow.
Pat was born Jan. 22, 1927, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Jennie and Ray
Collins. She was united in marriage to Harold Trimner on June 18, 1949.
Pat received her teaching degree from UW-Whitewater. She taught in a one-room
schoolhouse in Jefferson County in 1947. She enjoyed teaching and loved the
kids. When she married Harold, they bought a dairy farm in Curtiss and farmed
for many years until moving to Abbotsford. Pat then worked at Mr. B’s Egg Plant
for 20 years. She was very involved in her church and loved singing in the
choir. She was an Eastern Star member for 49 years. She loved taking casino
trips with her daughter. Pat always found the positive in everyone and
everything.
Pat is survived by her son, Brad (Kathy) Trimner of Park Falls; daughter, Heide
(Marcella) Trimner of Albany; daughter-in-law, Kathy Trimner of Athens; six
grandchildren, Nicholas (Rebecca) Trimner, Dr. Christopher Trimner, Dr. Matthew
Trimner, David Trimner, Daniel Trimner and Shawn Trimner; sisters-in-law, Pat
Clark of Medford and Kate Schmalfeldt of Burlington; nephews; and great-nephews
and great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Jennie; husband, Harold; and
sons, Scott and Steve.
