Albert Pecherer passed away at the age of 92.
He was born in Germany in 1847 and came to the United States in 1863, joining
the Union Navy the following year, serving aboard the USS Oriole.
Colby GAR Post 112 was officially dissolved in 1938, seven years after the death
of Albert Becherer.
