Lorenzo L. Cramer, born in 1835, served with the New York volunteer Infantry and died of heart failure at the age of 60 in 1895.

“During Mr. Cramer’s residence here he continuously held the esteem and respect of his neighbors and many friends on account of his sterling qualities of honesty and uprightness.” his obituary states.
