Some 65 students in the University of Minnesota's College of Veterinary Medicine
were honored Tuesday, May 21, 1968, at the college's second annual Recognition
Assembly.
Dean W.T.S. Thorp addressed students, and then Associate Dean R.K. Anderson and
others presented the various awards and scholarships, recognizing academic
achievement among the students. The ceremonies were held at the St. Paul Student
Center.
Amon the juniors honor for B or better average was James A. Majka, son of Mrs.
Irene Petrauski, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).
