Blunck, Margaretha (9 MAR 1893 – 13 MAY 1968)
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 16th, 1968 at the Hoeper and
Kraut Funeral Home in Owen for Margaretha Blunck, 75, who passed away on Monday,
following a coronary attack at the Clark County Hospital, where she has made her
home for several years. Officiating at the services was Rev. Luetkehoelter, and
burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were John Blunck Jr., John Jalling, Jack Jalling, Gay
Christopherson, Larry Blunck and William Blunck.
Miss Blunck was born March 9, 1893 at Thorp (Clark Co.), Wisconsin, the daughter
of Dorothea Thormachien and John Blunck. She spent most of her life with her
parents doing domestic work on their farm in the town of Longwood (Clark Co.).
Surviving are three brothers, John, Walter, and William Blunck of Withee. A
brother, Herman, passed away in 1965, and a sister, Melvina Larson, preceded her
in death.
