Jeff Mathewson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Mathewson, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.),
is scheduled to receive the Bachelor of Science Degree in industrial technology
during commencement exercise at Stout State University at Menomonie Friday, May
31, 1968.
Approximately 450 persons will receive Bachelor of Science or Master of Science
degrees during the 10 a.m. ceremony in the university's health and physical
education center auditorium.
Eugene McPhee, director of Wisconsin State Universities, will be the principal
speaker. Stout's president, William J. Michaels, will confer degrees. Diplomas
will be present by James Solberg, Menomonie, a member of the Board of Regents of
State Universities.
Mathewson is the former recipient of a legislative scholarship. He is a member
of Stout Symphonic Singers, Rifle Club, Alpha Phi Omega (recording secretary),
Stout Society of Industrial Technology (corresponding secretary).
