Dr. A.P. Lien, who spent the past winter in Arizona, returned home on Thursday.
He was accompanied by his brother, Sam Lien, who will visit here a few days.
Mr. and Mrs. Willard Geary were weekend guests of their daughter and son-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Maki, at Rockford, Ill.
Mrs. Elizabeth Burs spent Mother's Day weekend with her daughter and son-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Schneider at Ladysmith.
Roy Ostenson is a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schultz were Mother's Day guests of their sister and
brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Rosenquist, and Mr. and Mrs. Tovis Mattilla
at Waukegan, Ill.
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Bowen of Wausau visited the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Les Bowen, over the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Cornel Erickson visited at the home of the latter's brother, Mr.
and Mrs. Harold Hanson, at Cashton, on Friday.
Mrs. Anna Tonn visited her sister, Miss Martha Schultz, at Medford Nursing home
at Medford, on Sunday.
The Curtiss Homemakers held their last meeting of the season on Monday evening,
May 23. Mrs. Harold Utke gave the project lesson. Refreshments were served by
Mrs. Lucy Johnson and Mrs. Martha Harmel.
