Peterson, Dennis C. (21 JUN 1938 - 18 JUN 2017)
Dennis C. Peterson, 78, of Antigo, passed away Sunday June 18, 2017 at Aspirus
Langlade Hospital Emergency Room.
Dennis was born June 21, 1938 in Medford, WI to Claude and Mildred (Wyss)
Peterson. He was a graduate of Medford High School. Dennis married Betty Sue
Peterson on November 26, 1979 in Menomonie, MI.
He is survived by his Wife, Children: Joe (Barb) Peterson of Mosinee, Denise
(Dave) Haley of Georgia, Jeff Peterson of Antigo, John (Barbara) Peterson
Seguin, TX, Steve (Ron) Farrar of Chicago, IL, Keith (Bonnie) Farrar of
Mississippi, Brother Lee Peterson of DeForest, 11 Grandchildren, 4 Great
Grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dennis is preceded in death by his Parents, Son Paul Peterson, Peterson, Brother
Kent Peterson and Infant Sister Donna Peterson.
Dennis served his country with the U.S. Army Guard.
Dennis drove semi over the road, starting his career with his father under C.C.
Peterson Trucking. He then went onto drive for Mortson Brothers Trucking, Mach
Farms, Krieger Metal and last drove as an Owner / Operator for Packerland
Trucking. He retired in 2010. Dennis was an avid sports fan and loved to watch
football, baseball and golf. He enjoyed socializing over cocktails and traveling
to the casino.
Cremation rites have been accorded, a graveside service and military honors will
be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday June 24, 2017 at Medford Evergreen Cemetery I in
Medford.
Memorial donations in honor of Dennis can be given to his family, for
designation at a later date.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford and Rib Lake has been entrusted with
arrangements.
