Jane (Westendorf) Le Fevre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Westendorf of Withee
(Clark Co., Wis.) received a Bachelor's degree on June 9, 1968, at the 119th
commencement exercises of Lawrence University, Appleton.
The class of 280 received its degrees in an outdoor ceremony in Lawrence Bowl.
The commencement speaker was Dr. Carl Wellman, who holds the C. Ingraham
Professorship in Philosophy.
Mrs. Le Fevre, for two years a recipient of a Lawrence Merit Award, the
…(unreadable).. Scholarship, participated in the Lawrence College Choir, and
took part in Opera productions. She served as program chairman for Sigma Alpha
Iota musical sorority in 1966-67. She is married to Lawrence Le Fevre of the
class of 1961, and lives at 807 1/2 S. Fremont, Janesville.
