Spring commencement exercises for more than 550 Centennial Year graduates of
Whitewater State University were held on Sunday, May 28, 1968, at 2:30 p.m. in
Hamilton Field.
Kenneth Haagensen, Executive Vice-President of the Wisconsin State Chamber of
Commerce, spoke on the topic, "Where Do We Go From Here?"
Among the graduates was Ronald Eugene Decker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester L.
Decker, rural Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), who was awarded a Bachelor of Education
degree in Elementary Education.
