Levis (8 May 1919)
Mrs. Wm. Meier and Mrs. C. Shramek spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Adolph
Meier.
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Sheridan and family moved to Neillsville Saturday.
J. Peck returned from Chicago Friday after working there through the winter.
Adolph Meier’s little son, Frank, is very sick with pneumonia. He is under a
doctor’s care.
Mr. and Mrs. R. Ebert and Lillian Shramek spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and
Mrs. C. Lueck.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Johnson and children of Chicago moved here last week. At the
present time they are staying with the former’s father, Mr. Wm. Johnson.
Mrs. J. Holub and Mrs. J. Cerneck spent Sunday evening with Mrs. T. Kurka.
Mrs. E. Daulawski of Chicago came to visit her daughter, Mrs. C. Gentleman, last
week Friday.
Mrs. A. Zeimba is very sick and is under the care of Dr. Matheson.
Mr. and Mrs. R. Ebert autoed to Loyal with Mr. and Mrs. W. Breseman Friday.
The house on the old Dahl place burned to the ground Monday afternoon.
Joe Rausch and Chas. Lueck had telephones installed Monday.
