Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Marsh are home from their California visit.

Mrs. Raymond Dougherty returned to Big Falls, Minn., Tuesday.

Mrs. Louis Larson returned to her home at North St. Paul Tuesday.

Mrs. A.J. Knorr and Mr. and Mrs. S.E. Weld were at Marshfield on Tuesday.

Clinton Walker of Tioga was here on Tuesday, being on his way to take a position in Michigan.

Mr. and Mrs. John Carter were called to Minneapolis Tuesday by the illness of their son, Cint.

Dell Williams sold the Hamilton Hotel on Tuesday to Mr. Rupp of Iowa, who is now in possession.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hitchcock of Alma Center came over Tuesday to visit their daughter for a few days.

Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Devos entertained a number of friends Tuesday evening at a 6 o’clock dinner, followed by cards.

J.L. Stewart of River Falls spent Monday and Tuesday here with Geo. Zimmerman. He is in the mercantile business at River Falls.

Miss Gladys Longenecker was home from Eleva over Sunday. She was accompanied by Miss Esther Gunderson, who is also a teacher in the Eleva schools.

Mrs. Fred Scott and little daughter arrived here last Wednesday from Ladysmith to spend a few weeks visiting in the home of Mrs. Almira Head.

Deputy U.S. Marshal Ganz was in the city Tuesday and subpoenaed a number of witnesses for the trial of Mrs. Krueger which occurs in the Federal Court at Superior starting May 1st.

Sergt. Matt Mueller came home from Ft. Snelling Monday evening, having been discharged from the army. He still walks with a cane, but is coming along in fine shape.

Mrs. Bertha Tragsdorf received word Tuesday that a daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Grinde on April 28 at Madison. Mrs. Grinde was Miss Elsie Tragsdorf before her marriage.

Telegrams were received Tuesday announcing the arrival in this country of Lieut. W.E. Schultz and Privt. Dave Gorman. The telegrams no doubt mean that portions of the 32nd will soon be home. It is rumored that they will be mustered out at Camp Douglas.
