Krueger, Caroline (Indicted – 8 May 1919)
Last week Assemblyman Harry Hewett, Dr. Bradbury, R.F. Kountz, R.V. Brown, A.R.
Mularkey and Clerk of the Court Geo. Ure were witnesses before the federal grand
jury in the examination of Mrs. Caroline Kruger, charged with assisting in
evading the draft. As a result of the hearing, Mrs. Krueger was indicted and
will now be tried in the United States court, and another chapter in the
celebrated Krueger case will soon be brought to a close.
