Mrs. John Mabie died in a hospital at Madison last Thursday. She is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Grabe of this place and Mr. Grabe went to Madison and
brought her body here for burial. The funeral was held in the M.E. church Sunday
afternoon, Rev. E.E. Strevey conducting the last sad rites. Besides her husband
and parents she leaves four children, two brothers and a sister to mourn her
departure. They are Kenneth at home, Donald of Rockford, Ill., and Mabel of
Detroit, Mich. We extend our deepest sympathy to the entire family in their
bereavement.
Miss Ella Hales entertained the J.B. club at her home last Saturday night.
Mrs. Wm. Rowe, Mrs. E.G. Rowe and daughter, Irma, were visitors at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. John Vande Berg last Thursday.
Herb Free and Fay Livingston made a trip to Marshfield on Mr. Free’s motorcycle.
